Here's how it works:

1. You set up managed spam and/or virus scanning or filtering with us. We tailor the behavior according to your preferences so you can determine how sensitive the scanner is for email to your organization as well as what happens to spam and viruses that are detected.
2. You then update DNS for your domain to point mail for your domain to Colynx instead.
3. New email is now routed through our system where it is scanned for viruses and/or spam.
4. Finally the email is either delivered by our system to your mail server, blocked, or quarantined so you can review it and decide for yourself. What happens to the mail is completely up to you.
